Baclofen Powder, also known as Beconfen, Becofen and Lluxing, is a derivative of γ-aminobutyric
acid, and is a spasmolytic drug. Baclofen Powder is a skeletal muscle relaxant and sedative that
acts on the brain and spinal cord of the central nervous system. It can inhibit the release of excitator
y amino acids such as glutamic acid and aspartate by stimulating the receptor, and thus inhibit the
transmission of single synaptic and multi-synaptic reflex in the brain and spinal cord of the central
nervous system, so as to play a spasmotic role.

Clinically, it has been used as a racemic preparation for the treatment of muscle spasm since the mid-1960s.
