What is Adipic Acid Dihydrazide/ADH  ? ADH is a cross-linking agent for aqueous acrylic emulsions. Also used as epoxy resin curing agent and formaldehyde scavenger.

Function

ADH reacts very quickly with ketones. For example, it is easy to react with the aldehyde group of the ketone or formaldehyde of diacetone .
In addition, ADH can also react with epoxy groups such as amino compounds.

Application

1.Room temperature can be cross-linked water-based paint.The acrylate emulsion consists of an acrylic monomer, and the diacetone is crosslinked very rapidly with the amino group of ADH.The coating has excellent water resistance.

2.Formaldehyde scavenger.ADH reacts with formaldehyde and prevents formaldehyde from evaporating into the air.

3.Epoxy resin curing agent.ADH high temperature reaction with epoxy resin can also be used for powder coating.
