Adaptation:The antibacterial spectrum and application are the same as tetracycline. Oxytetracycline Hydrochloride Raw
Material is slightly more effective than tetracycline in treating intestinal infections, including amoebic dysentery.
Ingredients:Prepared by soil streptomyces.
Properties:Its hydrochloride is often used as a yellow crystalline powder, odorless, bitter in taste; it has hygroscopicity; its
color gradually becomes darker when exposed to light, and it is easily destroyed and invalidated in alkaline solution. Soluble
in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble
Precautions:See Tetracycline. Close cross-resistance with tetracyclines
